The Rise And Rise Of David Obama Geoman – The African Michael Jackson.

It is said that the future is written in an invisible ink and it only begin to be visible when it becomes the present. This scenario can best describe the slow but methodical rise of this young boy who just turned 9 years (on the 9th of January 2019), David Obama Onyekachi Geoman popularly known as the African Michael Jackson.

David is definitely a wizkid to watch out for in the nearest future. Born into the family of legends, David who mimics the scintillating and mesmerising dance steps of the greatest musician ever to step foot on this planet, Michael Jackson, has left no one in doubt where he is headed in no distance time.

A primary 5 pupil of the prestigious St Anne’s Nursery and primary school, his exploits in the world of entertainment started at the tender age of 3, and as a professional entertainer (earning from his craft) at the age of 5. Small wonder he attracts so many attention and has won much Accolades.

In the words of his Father who doubles as his manager, Chief Christopher Geoman, David is a blessed kid, his fusion of the contemporary Nigerian and African dance is breath taking and leaves his audience spellbound.

During his career, David has gone round over 25 states of the federation, and wherever he goes, he leaves a sweet taste behind. Some of the big platforms he has performed includes;

Just to mention a few. He has also won and been nominated for different awards.

  • Abuja Stars Awards (ASA) – for Most Consistent and Outstanding Young entertainer in Nigeria.
  • African Dance Academy Awards (ADAA) – as most fierce dancer in Africa under the age of 18. This Award was voted online Across 22 countries in Africa, and he smashed their record by pooling 6675 votes out of the 9500 votes casted in his category. Beating other 7 contestants who were from different African countries.
  • National Humanitarian Award – David won the National Humanitarian Dancer of the year 2018 at just 8 years old, making him the youngest in the world to have won that Award. The person who previously held that record was 12 years old. The event was held at Sheraton Hotel Abuja.
  • Top 10 wonder kids Entertainers in Nigeria – He was nominated amongst the Top 10 wonder kids Entertainers in Nigeria, by the Top10 magazine Lagos.
  • Global Ambassador of Peace – most recently, on the 28th of April 2019, David Obama Geoman, was awarded (alongsides the German ambassador to Nigeria, top designer Stacy from America, Racheal Bakam and 10 others) The Biggest of them all. Global Ambassador of Peace. This was in recognition of his willingness to fight for those who were Down Trodden in the Society

He owns a platform named the African Michael Jackson Entertainment (Fully registered under CAC) a platform he plans to use to discover fresh talents like him.

He has been with different Stars which includes; Tuface Idibia, Gordon’s, Funny Osama, Terry MC Tagwai, to mention but a few.

On the 13 of February, under his new platform, African Michael Jackson Entertainment, David gave out 26 awards, to different individuals and organisations.

On the 27th of May 2019, David is organising A Children’s day Mega-Rally tagged “Heal Nigeria”. At Chimcherry hotel Barnawa Kaduna. He will be hosting more than 2000 kids to a non gated show.

This includes 3 orphanage homes and the kids in the IDP camp. No wonder the Africa Fashion for Peace (AFP) Awarded him Accordingly.

This young man is headed somewhere into the invisible future. And it shall only become visible, When his success becomes the present day reality. Ride on boy, God Almighty is surely with you.
